volume 4 begins with quotes — then daybooks

don’t feel like dealing with the quotes now — an example of all the aspects of time that i might want to recover

another quote writing project cancelled — another notebook — more pages to number — use computer for quotes
develop word processor for writing book — doesn’t reach 1000 pages (this notebook) — clouds move in and out
have to pick up film — should have done that today — have to do it tomorrow
pictures down the lake shore yesterday — “on the rocks” — mostly close up of stones and plants on stones
found some nice stones — very sculptural — led to reflections on art and realization that The Book is not the way to start my writing — so its back to multi book format — need to collect ideas together
reflections on Digital Harmony — need to explore my own methods <my> need for systems and rules — all will probably be found unsatisfactory in the long term but a beginning is needed
assortment of plants in the yards — weeds etc
difficult to choose — too many choices
