NOTES
if I want to write — be a writer — I have to use the times I talk to myself to write —
get at the fragments of ideas
now I have to decide how to type up this notebook — what writing or writings do I go on to
2 texts — the art writing and the Love/Sex novel — also the new novel — what about that
the past couple of days have been nearly wasted
ART
the problem of intersecting with the art scene — of getting the writing into circulation —
on the politics and economics of art
TV PIECE
TV chassis on black ground — velour? — with wood frame (black)
possibly shelf with some tubes

relate to Judd on art whatever addition
the art is in the placement or arrangement — should the outside be scaled to the pieces or all the same —
I think it should be a little larger than the largest piece and all the same
FLASKS
considered using them in a rack like an upright style wine rack but decided against that because of the shape — a
single column might be good — inserting them between shelves should hold them if the measurements were good —
something like ‘radiator’ possibly — possibly 3 parts
have 11 in the attic
TV PIECES
largest is ≈ 12x26 — could use an 18x30 back — 1 yard of velour
the backs of the circuit boards would not be visible — possibly take some slides of the backs —
mounting will be difficult as the pieces are heavy — need to design some hardware system —
with the cloth front hardware could go through the piece — the molding could hold it away from the wall
may remove some of the components for other pieces — possibly a side piece or two —
like the planned Akai sculpture — TV tower
would ‘loosen’ the arrangement as some of the pieces may be too dense
DEAD BULBS
all these ideas need to be organized — or disorganized [dis]organized
try to document some of the art
