looking at some note files to see if I want to print any pages — these are RR 15-17 — the word processor versions

make a set of indications as to which layer each note came from
possibly a series of letters to indicate the layers — MS for main sequence RB for red book — BB for Black book — RBp for pencil in red book — RB1 for first set of inserts — a set of sequential numbers starting at the beginning and running in text sequence — each with an indication of where it came from   1/MS   nnRB1

where do I want to put the commentaries
where do I want to put the asides like this

I’m thinking of inserts in the text — letting the text be narrower or wider with the comments inside or aside it — possibly unnumbered — or
I thought of using the right page but I don’t want that much separation — lining up will be a problem — perhaps I could use printed lines on the page (Glas lies behind these ideas)

these several pages together as on segment aside the text

I’m speculating on shapes but I’ll have to get into the work and actually do it before I can decide what form to use
