time to start the metatext of my RRR text

two main sections — text and metatext
the text will contain things already in and I may want to change some of the spaces etc — possibly will divide the spaces etc
the metatext will contain the encyclopedia — quotes bibliography etc

how do I want to go about adding the encyclopedia entries —

do I want to do them here and then export to PageMaker for spell check or just check them myself —
do I want to start right away with separate windows or write in one window and then divide them
