read Halo — a rather disappointing book — although I don’t really know what I expected — I don’t like the hippy idea — the commune etc — all these recuperations of 60’s failures
note on page 205 the idea of copying — which seems logically unsound to me in that it doesn’t really solve the problem — which I would go back — that I would still have the problem

all this science fiction I’m piling up — most of which I don’t like
still on Pfohl and not really liking it although it has some interesting spots — I was going to quit but decided to finish

working through another scan of the RRR text — making a line of work spaces that I’ll have to go through again — this shouldn’t be taking so long — still have all the metatext to write

after a beautiful day in Saranac

wasn’t going to work on the writing today but Kim decided for me — am trying to follow the work path but not doing very good — have to decide how to lay out the text

divided 4/27 into smaller spaces — if I have enough room or memory I may want to do the entire thing that way

I’m thinking now in terms of a meta layer along with the encyclopedia etc

the days could be arranged by a year or in a line
the meta layer would go as a text link in the spaces
the voyeur and labyrinth lines would follow there own paths — I’ll probably leave out the places and hyper paths and use the meta text for that
there would also be an encyclopedia and a quote section etc

made the paths that will have to be remade

give up for the night — want to get the 4/27 entry finished — but am not doing very well tonight
