an aching back for over a week
need to start getting my artwork and writing organized but can’t seem to do it — maybe I should just give up — I can see why people get bored and don’t want to retire from work etc - just go on with mindless tasks - I have too many things that I want to do but don’t do them — maybe I should just work - it’s easier

the hard part is getting started
I don’t know why I don’t just turn on the sound system and play with the KYMA
why

so I start another weekend (after a day off -but that was Christmas)

listen to my new CDs — hundreds of things to listen to — but art is not the same — nor are books really

that’s where I should be working — some art that one can look at while listening to ambient music or electronic music
something that takes the content out etc
something that may or may not be sequential
(the idea of being able to redo this music - to shift it’s arrangements etc
the idea of being able to set some machinery to make random image/text/sound arrangements)

my back is killing me — pain like I don’t know very often

was thinking of taking my notes out — of working on getting these notes into a different form — thinking that the database might be a good place for the notes — break them down into segments and put categories etc — date and number sequences could be used to get them back into chronological order

pull out all the music ideas etc
I should be making notes on the music - which pieces relate to what I’m doing or want to do — Listening to Rapoon - 'Easterly 6 or 7' — the glissando sound of the eastern drums that I like so much
