my work spans many genres — an amateur — sporadic production for 30 years

titles of the works — attaching a name to a work is rather arbitrary

minimal intervention in found objects — objects being nearly anything

<need to look up the art file>
<need to get as many pictures as possible>

vital stats — how I became an artist

the wood carvings as minimal pieces —

the grain of the wood
the ability to touch and to hold the pieces
the contrast of polished or finished surfaces and natural wood
I like it when it’s difficult to tell

some anecdotes – D Osborn — the titles

the anthropomorphology of the pieces
have worked on these from time to time over the years
have produced almost nothing the past few years

have not attempted to sell these pieces — these pieces have not been offered for sale

the wood carvings have stayed pretty much the same over the years
they are dependent on the original shape of the wood – the only variation is the amount of carving or cutting that I do and the amount of surface finishing
some physical work and some contact with natural material in contrast to my usual work
