yesterday was total depression day

facing my own lack of art and the very small attendance at Rick Reed’s concert
should I review that
haven’t kept up with any of the book notes that I wanted to do etc

Ken Jacobs films not that great — 'Flo Rounding a Corner' was good except that it was too long and too short — it could have been extended to make a much better 25 minute piece than the one that Rick showed but it was too long in that parts of it should not have been included — the piece that reversed her movements etc

the long piece would have been better with geometric shapes or something
last night half asleep thinking of a sequence of a revolving ‘light’ door and some words by the doors and Huxley and color sequences from Burroughs and the Tibeten book of the Dead etc

is my art worth dealing with

I should spend a couple of days boxing the stuff up

R’s music is always good
he integrates it so well with the video stuff that it’s easy to forget it in the background —
his would be perfect things for DVD
