try to keep track of time today — maybe start with a spreadsheet instead of trying work in this file

now is the time to get moving

what is the step that i’m missing

yesterday i screwed up making a temporary case for the dishwasher
not a great deal — just a small amount of time lost

i realized how much i hate doing that type of work
(it’s going to be a challenge getting this house finished
but i did get some done already and it turned out all right)

i don’t really want to do any art that requires construction
possibly that has been the problem right along
making the things that hold the art

there are a lot of things at the storage unit that i could and should get rid of
i was thinking of keeping some of the copper pipe things for now because they don’t take up much room and could be used for yard sculptures as least for photography

i should spend the time that it takes to get some photographs of things before they go to the scrap heap or the garbage pile
i didn’t do enough photos in plattsburgh but i didn’t have a digital camera
