SCAN — PHYSICAL ARRANGEMENTS — ARRANGEMENTS OF SCANS
PHYSICAL PREFERENCE
THE WALL VS HORIZONTAL SURFACE
THE SCREEN THAT CAN BE VIEWED AT DIFFERENT ANGLES
(different compositions made by ‘scanning’ a digital painting — zooming and moving around (but nothing really moves)

LIGHTS
use of lights to create shadows in an assemblage — colors could be changed etc

(a long note on my disagreement with Flavin etc on the ‘specificness’ of art — one should be able to change the colors — even the arrangement — there is never a definitive version)

FLAVIN 32 — near bottom —JOYCE — EPIPHANY
RADIANCE OF THE OBJECT

PM
to work with the light of the video screen the way Flavin worked with light —
layers of color — GRADIENTS
shift intensities —
the few colors of lights — the infinite color of the screen

i keep starting things but don’t continue —

i like to take apart things — but can’t seem to make that an art form —
