10/1 p2
the value of a house is in the yard - the surroundings — i probably would prefer living in a large loft in a building with a lot of residents —
walking the streets — city — suburbs —
walking country roads — (my fears)
walking the dogs
walking barefoot
walking in a park
it’s not comfortable to walk barefoot in texas — even in the house with concrete floors - downstairs — and incomplete floors upstairs
eisenman — the grid vs the shifted grid — i don’t like but like the later buildings (which i’ve never seen) — what would the houses be like — grids & planes — hard surfaces
<more drawings for doors>
i keep coming up with complex schemes for doing simple things — then fall back to easy —
? the garage door — i thought of making it a geometric painting —
but worried that it would be obtrusive — maybe just make it white — maybe attach objects to it — red panels on black —
would blue or green be possible — maybe the color of the siding — with black or red panels —
need to do at least a few things ‘differently’ — but actually the entire house is different —
