a separate writing file to keep the things in to work on — obviously these notes are too scattered and i can’t seem to just sit and write -

thinking this morning of painting a wall with different colors — different manners — changing it from time to time by adding new strokes colors etc
leads to the idea of digital painting — to change a painting routinely by adding more to it — but the layers can all be kept —
again infinity & levels of infinities — starting at one layer another could be added then another — but at each stage different layers could be used — so after layer two — two different 3rd layers produces 2 different paintings — layers could be used in different paintings — several layers can be collapsed into one to be used as a single layer —

further idea — working in different areas of a very large painting — where one can’t ‘see’ the entire thing —
with a computer painting the image can be ‘reduced’ to fit on the screen (in the screen) and a layer or pattern placed over the entire thing —

reading eisenman — blurred zones without much understanding — finished barefoot without much understanding

moving through notes — into october 2006 — 5 years
reading eisenman at that time also — surprised that i had those books so long ago
