i’m out of things to copy —
i get into things like that but they don’t lead anywhere —
should some diary type of thing be part of a blog — what i did or didn’t do yesterday —

looked at a few web sites trying to figure out what works and what doesn’t — not much is any good — the social sites are pretty shitty — flickr etc look OK but i would need to know how to use them

i don’t like scrolling

i keep wanting to keep track of when i write things — looking at my web site notes i want to date each entry — but so much time is involved — it doesn’t matter — but not much does — so maybe the constant awareness of time is as good content as any other

blogs etc are pretty linear — blogspot has a grid arrangement that i don’t really like but i’m used to the linear arrangement — maybe the grid or sidebar layouts are better — they are better

linear arrangements moving backwards in time (blogs) — i would like more options — a forward time frame so that if something is being worked on and documented it could easily be followed as it develops

the arrangement of the words — infinity of arrangements — a ‘stack’ of variations on each page — roubaud’s image of his as a wall of pages — my visualizations as an arrangement of various sized stacks of pages — not necessarily in a grid (note these passages in the web notes — that keeps the dating of the ideas)

i keep getting sidetracked from web work — i look at the web to get an idea what size windows are used and wind up looking for a video on anselm kiefer
