i may not be able to make the text i want to make (avoid ‘writing’ and ‘book’) but that would be (or part of that would be) my inability to use the computer — (maybe being too old — not growing up in the environment)

a ‘good’ ‘writing’ ‘style’ uses too many words (wastes words)

i ‘suffer’ from a poor attention span (although there are some things i can work on for hours — repetitive tasks) — attention deficit disorder — maybe it will be a social advantage —

the problem / idea (task / work / job) is to rewrite not to write

turning all of this inability into ‘art’ —
i’m fascinated with the usages of ‘art’ as a word — generally assumed to be visual — but writing can be an art —

experimental vs avant garde —
i don’t like the term avant garde — it’s too militaristic — and in early 20th century militarism — a french term — a country that was pretty much defeated by germany —
now avant garde refers to a conservative art — something past and not present —
the world is a sphere and nothing is in front of anything else — use ‘’movement’ and not ‘progress’ — the sun doesn’t rise and set (D&G) — metaphors are useful but can get in the way — of movement not progress — the path or trajectory of a movement is relative

frames of reference

when i think of ‘avant garde’ art i think of dead artists and composers

RK on computers making things too easy — music video etc — they aren’t easy — i’m amazed at the knowledge and skills some people have — my brain was too ‘formed’ for me to work with advanced computer things —
