dozens of pictures of doors
surfaces etc — i was thinking again yesterday of a small microscope
thinking i could bring it north but i can use it on my things here and the north trip should be just for photographing

a couple of photo things saved to art board — as i go through the pinterest i think (again (as always)) of redoing the boards
the desire to arrange but the thought that the randomness is better
there are other things from this ‘tarot’ set most of which i don’t like

the other image saved to art — are photographs still art — the idea of archival that i’ve been thinking about while reading the derrida (which is not about ‘archives’ or ‘archival’ in the sense that i think about it) — archival print always seemed (what - silly - strange) to me
let things rot

archive fever rather disappointing because the idea of archive and archival is interesting for me but not at all in the sense that derrida is using — also his later work is rather redundant — too self referential in a not so good way — there is a lot about his style that i like but most of the later works seem to have nothing ‘to offer’
i had mark some passages in my first reading but found them uninteresting in this reading

9/28/21 archives should have instructions on how to make CD players or have some way of preserving digital art other than disk drives even hard memory is fragile and would be hard to read — a rotten old manuscript — a little black block of silicon
