galveston a long walk to the end of the island — there were many shells there — mostly i picked up fragments — some very colorful but they may need to be wet — hundreds of hermit crabs like the last time we were there — all the good shells occupied —

i did find 3 complete shells — (i hope weren’t owned — 2 moon snails — walking back while it darkened — 360° sunset — lightning over the gulf — the planets visible one at a time — venus jupiter mars saturn in brightness order — from west to east venus jupiter saturn mars — love chaos war —

i feel much better —

i didn’t have the camera — used my phone for some pictures —

now we have to get ready to drive home
to face what
to try what
to be what — strange narrative dreams that continued through the night that i can’t describe — some fear of death —
maybe i’m too late — but — what difference does it make — to the birds and crabs —
