NYTimes — ‘is ethical AI possible’ — AI will define its own ethics — PETA —
many (maybe most) fear or dislike — maybe AI (which will be intelligence and humans will no longer be considered intelligent—) will treat humans as animals —
treat them the way humans treat other animals (which would be more logical)
maybe they / it will decide there are way too many for the planet and eliminate
a couple of billion or more — maybe there will be a METH group
(machines for the ethical treatment of humans) which will have limited impact —
a logical intelligent machine should be able to get rid of billions of people
without too much environmental impact — without destroying much other ‘life’ —
the net result would be a better earth — (but it’s probably too late —
the billions of humans will probably be killed by their own stupidity
and lack of ethics — and take much of the rest of earth’s life with them —
the planet will soon be a stinky garbage heap of dead bodies —
more important than ethics would be the aesthetics —
——
the first machine work would be to get rid of the world blight of small towns —
especially american small towns — machines would be much better at farming
(would farm machines be looked down on) — that would do little to reduce the population
but would be an aesthetic improvement —
(imagine the beauty of the landscape without these shitty little habitations —
would ethics and aesthetics combine to make the elimination of the human species a logical goal —
i once thought that human ability to use hands and eyes —
human skills would be beneficial to machines but machines
have progressed rapidly (manual dexterity — man & fingers — finger fucks)

i can’t get moving — a system to keep track of photos should be easy —
