ROCKS & MINERALS — so many varieties — the pebbles & gravel that is worn smooth — what minerals are in these — black river stones — all the colors of granite — (collect slabs of granite & marble — (art work using small pieces in a grid — other art using river pebbles etc — picturing a grid that would fit tight around the stones))

if i could convey the feeling i get from looking at things —

wood as object — all the pieces i have to work with —

get these ideas into the text — with photographs —
(how far behind am i in getting months into the note sequence — what numbering system can i use — maybe just append a number — 100-1 100-2 etc
