need to take control of my life

last night very frustrated that i couldn’t get the video camera set up

there is no sense in my working on video or music
video abstraction is not that interesting
at 61 it’s too late to take up music or video

i can write
i can do assemblage art
i can work with papers

get everything into the house and organized
work with what i have

let kim decide what to do with the music equipment etc

keep only the CS books and the web books
sort through them and get rid of what is out of date

i have too many books on flash etc
time to purge them out

forget about kyma — dump the smalltalk books
making sounds is fun but i have too many fun things to do

make choices —
i’d like to work with French and Japanese

i can revert to childhood a little and play with the stamp collections
make an art of my obsessions instead of being obsessed with art
