what is culture—

the computer is necessary for what i want to do with ‘writing’ — a complex organization of linkages — of ‘pathways’ — (but that word has been used too much in writing on hypertext)

cultures are ruined by growing old and not changing —
a culture is only a fragment of culture —
one can say i like this and not that — that i don’t like hip hop culture just as my parents dislike rock culture — but differently because i accept it as a new culture (or a different culture) that i’m not ‘tuned to’
