ASSEMBLAGE / COLLECTIONS — i can’t get away from (escape from) took apart the QUADRA computer this morning — and decided to keep some of the metal framework
FRAMES — using picture frame embedded in black wood frames — for modular sized — a 4” grid — thinking of different methods of attaching the frame —
? how would the ‘objects’ be held — this is probably all too difficult & i should stay with the digital ideas — make a collection — the metal pieces can be part of the collection —
? what about the idea (old) of using just narrow wood as a grid type frames & attaching objects to the grid or to plywood pieces on the grid — the grid could be irregular or symmetrical (all of my drawings were for symmetrical grids)

measure objects to fit them into the grid — the depth of the grid could depend on the objects being held —
?picture frames attached to the grid —
OBJECTS — UNATTACHED — can be held and looked at from all sides — angles — this is the proper condition of sculpture — free from form or context —

stay with the idea of taking things apart and not putting things together — the art would be a container of ‘chosen found’ objects — that could be displayed in any way
PHOTOGRAPH —
PICTURE FRAMES as flat beds — art to lie flat instead of being walled —

COULD A ‘FRAME’ BE A FRAME FOR SHELVES — replace the glass with plywood and screw shelves to the plywood —

the universe is not indifferent — it’s evil — only evil could have evolved humans — life in general — just death usually & bad death — pain and sorrow — infinite —
disgust is the proper view of everything —

art is absurd
life is absurd — doing anything is absurd — the sun is evil shit —

some are born to endless night but can’t get away from the fucking evil sun — people should live at night in artificial light — i should try to stay up at night but i couldn’t do anything without keeping kim awake —
