dearth of writing lately — reading more Mumford - The Myth of the Machine
— now on part 2 — find him very confused and self contradictory but seminal for my own thoughts — should write some annotations — numbered paragraphs for that purpose
does that type of writing have a place
decided to get a vasectomy — will go next week
haven’t done as much with the computer as I had expected to do — possibilities are immense — have to get out of the habit of using chance and try to control for a while

have been thinking of all the paradoxes in my thoughts — politically and artistically
getting close to my birthday — almost a whole year in this one notebook — the strangeness of time perception — in a way it seems so much longer than a year — in another way it doesn’t seem that any where near a year has passed — in 3 more months I will have been at the sewer plant for a year — at the end of this month I will have been back in Plattsburgh for 2 years — have been in this apartment for 8 months

sleeping very long hours lately — getting very nervous about operation — only a couple more days
