writing on scrap paper — can’t find notebook
ideas from Hubbel book — should write now but won’t
trying to sort papers
fragments of the last few of days — reaction to books — reaction to election — should write now — any starting point — haven’t touched notes since I finished the type script — surrounded by a mess

found notebook — didn’t realize it was my day book because of the oddness of the entries lately with a lot of back tracking — some to copy over now

getting tired — have to sleep a while — perhaps should wait for the dawn

going to Manhattan this month — is it worth the expense
the tasks ahead — notebooks etc — correct type script — write new things — piles of notebooks — piles of papers — mounds — bits and scraps

day done — long busy day — almost time for work — finally getting organized — do I feel a creative period ahead — still surrounded by junk
