the idea of books that stand outside of the general publishing scheme — the long range strategy is forgoing that media — an optimal long term effort sacrificing immediate dissemination

evolution can’t work that way

(there possibly are a large number of books that I would find interesting but don’t know about — experiments in art that don’t circulate because of the methods of exchange that are primitive — a lot of my {ideas / work / play} {doesn’t / don’t} lend {themselves / itself} to the current method of exchange etc

is the long range strategy to take a chance that changing media will sometime converge with my own thoughts — that my work will eventually coincide with a media more amenable to it? — (is there an I)

my ideas on expanding and contracting pages (Hofstadter on the seeing of the whole at once leads to interesting possibilities when converged with my own ideas) —
