start with a numbering system — each section gets a number — start with 2 time lines — from the present — from the past

there were a lot of ideas that I lost last night — on paragraphs that are rewritten etc — variant writings etc

finished the Carrier (Artwriting) book (which I was rather disappointed with) and started the Levin (Beyond Modernism)

looked at the notebook scan that I started last month and don’t really know what to do (with it)
I want to go on with some sort of text

but

late at night — falling asleep — everything seems straight forward — I just get up and get at it

but

11:40 — a beautiful day — cool and breezy but sunny for the first time in a while — I feel like getting out in the yard but I should get at something

the art work also
thinking of a series of paintings that I’ve had in mind for a while — just layering papers and glues etc — getting some paint out and slopping things down

<i> need to get the studios straightened out

it is time to go back — to react to the past etc
it is time to go forward — to get another series of art and writing done (finished) it is time to get outside and enjoy the weather — I haven’t been enjoying myself recently — too many things to do that I don’t like doing — time to get some plants repotted also — can’t decide what to do with the cacti so I’ll just get them into some pots for now

too many things in/on my mind — art ideas — yard ideas — the notebooks — making a chronology etc — a layering — a series of layerings — deciding where everything will go in the web (thinking of the hypertext ideas — getting everything (not everything) — getting things into that form)

may 1993
walking the dogs
i have so many ideas
falling asleep everything seems to be falling into place
in the morning it all falls apart
it’s time to go back
it’s time to go forward
to go out
to get inside
