working on the spaces with a not very positive feeling — trying to decide whether I should go to Saranac and cut brush or stay here and work on this whatever — add layer to layer — what will be the result — thinking I should go back through all the notes again — a constant whatever — there is no necessity for an outside — outside this whatever — the academic — the fame — the fortune — I won’t have any of those — no Ariadne no Melanippe — how to get the entire thing into different forms — just get everything into what —

just keep cycling on my

a PageMaker version — a Storyspace version etc
possibly I should just leave the one print of the PageMaker version with a revised index and then save it in text format to save space and then get it all into Storyspace including the side texts — possibly redo the index so that everything is in by date rather than by page — each date being a writing space — then no matter what form it is the things could be found
chronology index etc

thinking I should get something done now — get a book to someone etc

I shut the program down and then change my mind
working on 1/11/83 — do I want to break it into spaces or keep it as is — do I want to start making layers in the text — put this as a note to that space

cycle back to the first line

worked on hypertext today — plodding through the spaces — I should be writing now — the encyclopedia etc — what do I want there
