images of going through the brush etc — today a totally overcast day — yesterday a beautiful sunny day

working on 6/15/86 — up to this point I’ve been breaking the spaces in a linear fashion but in this section I’m thinking of taking parts out mid space

does it make any difference — how will I mark the diversions

working on the spaces again but not really sure what to do with the long spaces of 1991 — the Shame sequence etc — do I want to break them into smaller spaces — just looking at them and changing the designation from work to meta — but I seem to be getting somewhere — things change a little with each movement through — the next will be to start the meta spaces — I don’t know why I don’t just do it now

should I be drinking so much coffee — all the evidence is that it is partly (at least) to blame for my nervousness and digestive upset — but could I write without it

I started making a second layer but didn’t continue — the new spaces could be inside the current ones for now but I’ll have to decide what is an outer structure — the encyclopedia etc and what is an inner — notes etc
I picture the encyclopedia and the day notes being on the same out[er] layer the bibliography etc may be on that level or considered as entries to the encyclopedia under the proper headings — quotes books etc
also have to get a list of all the side texts (a space I’ve already started — what will it be called)
thinking if there’s room for 720 spaces — 360 days plus ency etc plus the inner spaces and the extra spaces made by breaking up the day spaces
