the question would be what is the best form for the material
I’m thinking about writing again now that I have the sound system
and something to escape from I need something to escape to
thinking of the form of the material — like all the floating contexts that we have now
there is not much opportunity to wear clothing from an entirely different context but we can wear clothing from many different contexts — (I’m thinking of a pair of very high very thin black heals on not so thin but very nice black clad legs crossing Rugar St — I’m thinking of 1890’s dress and thin black boots)
read Sterling interview in Mondo — liked that
read Kalimantan — didn’t care much for it although it was a good read — something is missing
there is a falling back

thinking about music — I’m thinking about loops but I can’t seem to get outside of my own concepts and actually get some sort of structures in place
working in these writing spaces I go back to the problem of moving stuff around —
of the linear aspect of the writing
thinking of writing in more than one space at a time
one to continue the ideas on writing
one for jotting down musical ideas
one for the daily notes or whatever the junk in between is
but I keep thinking that the sequence should be preserved
I have some sort of book in mind also
possibly the threads of music and writing can weave together
but they are totally different media
I like Mondo visually but the contents is not that great although a couple of the articles were pretty good
my head itches — dry out time of year — the worst month except possibly April —
problems of economics as I sit here in front of multithousands of dollars worth of equipment
time to work on some sound files
