I keep thinking of some matrix for music — a 3D space with time along the Y axis — sounds spiraling and pulsing downward — but what are the dimensions

the stereo space as the X axis ?
modulation and change in the sound on the Z

I picture time going down and the speakers on the left and right — maybe the different sounds — for example a drum set being represented as different points on the Z axis — a movement along the Z axis as a sound being modulated — but there are several different things — dynamics — frequency etc

thinking I should do a book because there are so few books that I like — there is some flow in almost all of them

dissatisfaction with the book —
the idea of a visually interesting book that still conveys a verbal sense
the idea of having infinite possibilities for visual layout because printing or multiple production as machine production is not the issue
