SHAME
some movement around the house — a little snow on the ground — the views are not good from these windows
progressive descriptions
had a lot of ideas on fictionalizing the novel — (the way Robbe-Grillet shifts scenes mid paragraph —
I started to read La Maison . . . (in French))
fictionalizing a beginning on March 20 — the equinox —
for example to take a section that would make a good beginning and date it 3/20/92 —
and then go on or back — arranging sections and dating them as if they were written
on successive days of the year changing sections etc — for example a section dated
on my birthday could be reworked over many days to get the proper mood
(is there a proper mood (propre) (how many parentheses am I in here)
get out (or in[to] the novel) — this room here where I write ‘this’) — but why bother —
hypo reality — something that is beneath or under the real not beyond or over or above it
a dog barking in the distance — the sound of the door as Kim lets Sam in from the porch —
the life of the cats — moving from window to window — seagulls — cars —
flashes of sunlight reflected off cars — a tall aluminum pole —
the Tij of the sign swings in and out of view — I have to turn my head about 90° to the left
etc
where was I
