after a great weekend — my insides get bad — got my hair cut — a major accomplishment — getting little things done — had an idea for something — but I can’t remember — can’t even — now I remember — some notes on Pollack quote about art becoming mural — while it’s actually becoming just the opposite — the video screen as the destination of art — digitized
ideas for the things I picked up in Spadderdock — put the round branch on a shelf with the metal pieces attached to a backing — use my ideas for pieces that could be either on a wall or on a base — possibly a piece that could be arranged in several different ways — another piece to leave as is — maybe polish the ends — another piece to carve

working my way through What Color is Your Parachute — still can’t get the L S job out of my mind —
a lesson in something — thinking of all the things that there are to do —
I keep thinking I should make a check sheet of how many hours I work at each task —
all the things (like music) that I’ve let slide — I should put some music on
disappointed that I didn’t get much sound in the Spadderdock video —
playing the CD I played while doing a lot of the video —
this should be sort of easy to do — do video and music in conjunction — I need a new job
I agree with most of the parachute book — but I wonder if the rest of the world does —
especially here in Austin which seems so unimaginative — make some time scale —
give myself time to pursue something ideal —
combine my enthusiasms
