the days flow on page after page — am I depressed — too inert to feel it — at least there are things to do here — electronic music last night and a little magazine similar to what I’ve been thinking of doing

one problem is that I don’t want to distill or summarize because that would tend to take it out of the context of a larger work

countering the idea of completion etc — the idea of never having the entire work (link with Derrida)

the idea of insertion etc — each work can’t have a number — maybe each section instead of each page — or 2 numbering systems — one for pages — one for sections

things would back reference to a section number and an index of references kept — for example in the future I could expand the reference to Derrida — this constant insertion and expansion ideas has always fascinated me (reference my own work)

the idea of never having the entire work — of there being too many pages for one to want them all

or the idea of intentionally making each copy unique — with a single art work (contra Pavic)
(but with the idea that any section could be duplicated (although file size might make it difficult (possibly a disk with each work that would have all the images or all the images if one image was sectionalized))) make a different picture for each work or a different treatment or a section of a very large image

I think I’ve been doing some good notes lately — toward writing — toward art

I should keep better track of the location of my book notes — <i> wanted to make some notes from Acker also
