4/25_p2
on going back through my notes and books and trying to place things into [a] new context[s] — when I get into these moods I get into explorations of infinity etc — an Acker quote might be good here (p97 of essays — actually it’s not a good quote for here — but I could build up some texture of quotes on labyrinths — (again this leads to the ideas on time and construction — where things are added at different times and occupy unrelated places (spaces) in the text(ure) but are somehow (cross) referenced to each other (should I try to develop some sort of coherent punctuations system — but that always breaks down — needs change etc — (how does one go back)))
a labyrinth of parentheticals
phrases that can serve to define large structures or the entire [con]text
a labyrinth of parenthetics —
everything being a comment on something else — something that may not exist and may never exist —
looking at Acker p117 I think of the things that I developed from the Lord Vanity text which I think could stand as good
<<poems>> — using << >> to mark out terms under erasure or whatever —
terms that have to serve because there are no better or that serve temporarily
until I think of something different or terms that have lost their meaning or have taken on too many meanings
{} to mark out temporary things — words that I want to replace or blanks that I want to fill in
() for parentheticals
possibly the entire <<book>> should be placed inside of parentheses (cf Barth) —
maybe I should use [] for references or use these where I have been using parentheses and () around references etc —
but I like the look of the () in the text so — possibly use [] for references [cf Barth]
