idea is to create a new data base and get the StorySpace stuff into it and just use the StorySpace as a reference
I need an entire interface design for this thing – I like the way the storySpace window allows the arrangement of the alphabet and gives a visual representation of the layering effect of spaces inside of spaces – but I can probably do better because I can make a more geometric design and spaces are not always inside of spaces
spatial metaphors
metaphorical spaces
arrangements of the words – pages screens windows
the 360 text is basically on hypertext — how do I want to go about separating out different texts etc — the encyclopedia that I have in mind now would be much more inclusive
James Joyce looms larger than Michael Joyce
copied a lot of the 360 text to the database — now I need to get at the structure from a programming point — stopped at the Landow space which has a lot of material to copy
