another rainy day <i> need to do something besides cut up a few books

art projects
i don’t really have something that i want to do now — it’s hard to just go up and do something

i should be working upstairs in one of the studios so i have access to material — but i have access to material on the computer

overwhelmed by things

by the sheer number of things

the number of projects
the number of pages
the number of objects

when i look at my things the huge number of objects in the collections of a large museum don’t seem all that large

k’s project of making a collage a day and keeping up her blogs
maybe i should read
look at the internet more
maybe the time spent on that would actually generate more time for me to do my own things

i need to get started on something — i can’t just abstractly start working with photoshop or illustrator
make some photos or designs that can be printed on the papers that i have
experiment with printing on book pages

are these projects that i can just start
find something — anything — to print and bring the computer upstairs - set up the printer - find a paper — any paper — and print
see what happens
take the drawing table and lay out some papers — any papers — and see what kind of montages i can make
