i feel like looking at old video tapes & copying material — (make a direct DVD — and then take clips from the tape to the computer) but i also want to finish cleaning up the garage —

periods of excitement about a project then i grow tired —

leaves floating around the pool — make a work day schedule and stay with it

hot coffee — rather cool morning but getting hot and humid — walk up a sweat later —

put things in the attic — get rid of more VHS tapes

(always the question of whether i should take them apart or not — components — jars of objects at uncommon objects — (places to write about — my favorite place in austin) crochet yarn — buttons fishing sinkers (a large collection of fishing things — a collection of stuffed animals & heads — some beautiful old light bulbs — nice jewelry — amazed that some of these things have survived — hand soap — i could collect jewelry — maybe some day i’ll be able to purchase for a collection — jewelry might me a good place to start —)

the feeling of a villa that we don’t have much — where people talk to each other etc — hotels aren’t like that — this one could be but it’s too expensive for that kind of people —

bring the video camera some day and just let it run — (look at brakhage over and over — pick some music — schultze ‘sounds’ good now — get more of the early albums — listen to things over and over — read something — maybe derrida or a reread of burroughs — or robbe-grillet — read and reread — copy out parts — write a journal piece every day or at least a few times a week
