galveston

sunrise 6:55 — moonrise 9:21

another beautiful sunrise — the rapid changes of the clouds — a slow video capture would be good —
colors — ‘artificial’ color

recolorizing

a large fishing boat
shades of blue as the light fades in the evening and the brightness in the morning — cloud shapes —

daylight — sound of a bird —
pelicans — trawler —

i enjoy photography — do that — photograph manipulate

the grass in the oblique sunlight — individual blades highlighted delineated (i haven’t enjoyed drawing i’ve enjoyed photographing (S keeps coming to mind) i want to photo the dune plants today (fishing boats — al stewart — liking different types of music — liking things — (i haven’t photographed the beach yet))

kim’s in a sitting mood — i feel like walking — a girl walking the beach — the beauty of legs —
the fishing boat moving across the scene —

scenerio

the waves move but stay the same — the walkers and fishing boat are different each time i look up — from these lines — a dog — the walkers cross each other and move apart — doppler shifting — pelicans cross the scene —
video — what can be done with ‘still’ images — look carefully at brakhage — note the differences between frame frame rates (more walkers) a painted picture frame — ‘frozen’ images — video and photo stills — reread the article RK gave me — the difference between the light — projected — reflected — the screen — the differences between video tape and digital video — (analog video tape — digital video tape — digital video without tape — all are different — scanning — film didn’t change much — there is always a picture — there is no video ‘picture’ —

a brief hard rain — yesterday morning also — storms were in the forecast but there haven’t been any —

high tide 5:16 low 11:04
the beach still empty — found a crab carapace and a shell —
