STONES — PHOTOS
write about stones —
my photograph notes are scattered — how long will it take to get things together

SHOAL CREEK Stones 3/18
decided to pick up some stones — usually i just find fossils — the stones —
one large mostly small pebbles gathered just to see what they looked like out of context — mostly they were non-descript & not worth picking up — they go into the gravel garden

2) first stone picked up
3) largest i’ve taken from shoal creek — fossils

3&4 wet phase

5-7) 2nd stone — not large — but bigger than the others i picked up 8-10) wet phase
11-12) one i picked up for the fossil — the other for the color
13-14) wet
15-18 or 19 ) small stones — 2 fossils — they turned out to be non -descript
20-21 or 19-20) gravel i picked up before leaving to see what it looked like at home & wet — most go into the gravel garden —

1 or 2 will go in the special gravel — rest gravel garden or front yard —

photos up to the large crystal stone
large crystal stone fell apart in the front yard —
the matrix was soft & ugly & went into the garbage after the photos
i put the fragments into a blue topped bottle that i’ll need to note so i remember what it is

the stones were mixed together — i can’t keep track of where things came from

the large one didn’t fit and went into the stone drawer — it’s a rather nice crystal arrangement
