what would be seen — an image of a page with links etc on top of it —

the page as background — i like that concept — the content of the page is fixed

1) make web pages and see what the pdf pages look like
2) start putting background images into indesign files

(should i try photoshop — using that the background of the text could be transparent —

each page will have to be a separate file — which would be the case with any web based version

on Burroughs — i read through the first trilogy and enjoyed it but not as much as i have in the past — was noting flaws as i went along — i couldn’t get into naked lunch — i started cities of the red night but couldn’t keep reading — i thought i’d never tire of burroughs but i’m noting a naiveté or something — a lot of corn — the ‘boys’ — some fantastic lines but i’m not into that now
started topology of a phantom city which i’m liking more — i think it’s time for a rereading of robbe-grillet — (this note put into the sept 96 notes — topology ... brings back memories that i’ve written about somewhere else in the notes from when i first read it)
