6:30 — feel like i’m falling asleep — unremembered dreams — detailed dreams but i have no recollection at all

working on the notes — july 2010 has a lot of material —
decisions i’ve been trying to make for 10 years - 20 years - 40 years

i’m realizing the impossibility of doing the notes in html — all the formatting that would be required — it’s not just the page layout — it’s the fonts etc
maybe i’ll just make a pdf or series of pdfs and put them up — or make each page a pdf and display the file — maybe that has an advantage because a ‘reader’ could resize the screen and see part of it at a time or could move around in it —
disadvantage — there would be no html / css to manipulate

make the art pages with html /css and leave the notebooks as pdf

methods of publication — the notes could be put on a flash drive
?how much visual material will there be — brings up another question of how to put images on the page if the material is pdf — i would have to do all of that in indesign — which might be a good idea — i’ve been picturing the notes as being transferred to html with images added as i design the web pages — but images can be done in indesign

what is a book

if the web page is a pdf page — where do the links go - ? superimposed — using the pdf as a background — or convert it to a png — i would need to adjust the indesign pages to make room for links — make the center column a grid for links dates etc — late comments —

use pdf text ? i don’t like that idea — if i use pdf the reader could have access to the files
