photos — what’s the best way of organizing them — make folders ? — most of them are in sets — maybe a yearly folder with sub-folders of ‘events’ — (i don’t like apple’s use of ‘events’ — but that may be a good way of looking at things —) the metadata is with the file so i should always have it —
? how to back up — ? one set by number as they are — with one backup — another with them organized and titled —


one set on the image — with working files — backed up to dropbox — one other backup — keep up to date — use 'my passport' daily —

? keep them as numbered or give them titles — a data base should be good — putting a title shouldn’t change the metadata —

there are no priorities — maybe if i actually make some pages priorities will follow — use photoshop — everything can be designed there — even video can be done — (maybe imovie and photoshop can be combined to do something creative


the task is impossible because there is no set goal or ending — unlike a novel or a painting —
the task is easy because there is no set amount that needs to be done — one page or a thousand or several thousand —

idea — periodically make CDs or something with working material — incomplete pages etc —
text — i need to just decide what text to keep and put it up (or down) — get it down —
