on the other hand
i could just play with the papers and books — arrange them etc
scan some of the stamp collections and some papers
(stamps are collections not a collection — they came from several sources — several different collections)
i don’t seem to be able to get at any art work
i enjoy just messing around with papers — cutting out parts of book pages — etc

in either case — what is the end result
if i do the web site — will anyone see it
if i just make a lot of scrap books — will anyone see them —

the library is discouraging me — having moved and arranged the books so many times — it’s getting tiresome — i need to start discarding
but do i want to use time doing that

i’m not doing the website anyway

bruce conner story II —

from the conner book — i like the assemblages — first reaction is to want to build some but that’s not what i want to do — there are too many of them — there is too much of that type of art
stay away from the analog art

keep in mind — picture/text type books like SMLXL - Bruce Mau etc (don’t have the mau and don’t care much for it)
