looked at manuscript of “Wasteland” and The Genesis of Ezra Pound’s Cantos textural elaboration — pages from the wasteland book are interesting in comparison with my pages with notes although I don’t cross out much — I didn’t think of them while doing those pages — the development of the outlined words is totally different — ideas for cantos — Plattsburgh cantos

3/23/19 coincidentally i was thinking about whippoorwill yesterday — not sure why — i was thinking about my grandparents’ farm — because i had been thinking about fields and looking for stones — brought up some memories — i listened to the sound from the internet — it’s faster and higher pitched than i remember
