put on Nocturnal Emissions ‘Glossolalia’ - which is a different sort of thing (the movement between loops and drones between long sustained or non looped pieces and rhythmic percussive pieces Lustmord MuslimGauze - Ayers is between them - loops but they are not percussive)


The collage covers make me think that I should just get out a bunch of papers and some glue and backing material and just make collages - just layer things - use anything
possibly use paint etc just to get rid of the acrylics that I’ve had for so long - just wet them up and spatter them etc

<i> should set up some sort of large working space in the apartment and lay things out - or possibly make a larger working area in the library and use the drawers for material - make some sort of system where I can shift some things out and new ones in

aside - need to make a new decorative arrangement in the hall - want to just use objects from the collections

aside - on using material - I’m afraid to use material because then I won’t have it any more
the timers that I have could be taken apart - but I should video it - should have Kim video it — put them into a set of bottles or into a drawer or something - what is this thing that I have for documentation etc -(what particular timer a piece came from etc) —
the idea of things like the timers being used for a lot of different works - for jewelry etc
the idea of using jars or something and displaying the components — that might be a good idea for some sort of work - using a series of jars for electrical components, small nails, screws, timer pieces, the small stuff from different take apart things, shore glass, stones
make some sort of shelf or something to hold the stuff — would it be possible to use the lab flasks for something like that without breaking them


the house is not set up at all for any sort of studio work — there are no large rooms — I have a constant dissatisfaction with the spaces that I have and a good idea of what I want but there doesn’t seem to be any way to make the transformation — should buy some large junky building downtown and make it a multi-use building

amazingly i still have the paint — i think it’s still good — my brother in law got interested in pour painting and i was thinking of trying something like that — not for the painting but to photograph or scan them for use in other works
is there any use for the splash paintings

something i’ve been working on again — i have hundreds of jars and vials — i like the idea of changing them from time to time — organize them in different ways

we have the same problem here in Texas — we did a lot of work to make this the house we wanted but we made it a house — i’ve tried many times to rent a studio and it’s never worked out for me

going through the notes — there are not only differences because of when they were written — there are also differences in when they were edited — some of the notes were edited in the random arrangement that i made several years ago — the set i’m working on now had a lot of notes in the center and right columns — i’m going to preserve some of those edits — such as this page
