almost time to start a new notebook file — time to archive the 1997 files

what am I going to do today — tired as usual — don’t know why I can’t seem to overcome the inertia and get moving — first it was all the Saranac stuff that had to be done - now it’s a back ache
but really what is it that I want to do

get to work on some book or something — the idea I’ve expressed several times that the book is the thing to get at because there is so much good music already — there are not that many books that I like — but I’m looking to put the book into the condition of the CD where one only needs to make a few hundred copies

my back bothers me too much to do this writing so I should do something else
get rid of my backlog of newspapers
