time is passing too fast and I’m wasting too much of it — I need to get my resume finished this week

thinking about writing — the non novel or antinovel — the art that I like is a theoretical not a practical art — something along the lines of Wittgenstein — a series of questions and meditations on art — all the systems that haven’t been carried out — methodologies etc — Burroughs and Joyce — these are not dead ends
what is this aspect of methodology
why don’t more people want to read this type of stuff
why aren’t such experiments carried out more — (this goes with music as well and even more so with film and video)

taking things out of the media — think more about the Pollack quote and the idea of art getting small — into the box or the screen — (an aside on not going to a Cornell show — maybe what I don’t do can be used — this paralysis or whatever) — fragments of novels that I can’t put together because I don’t think in those terms — won’t / can’t

choose not to have no choice

all the things that I think as positive traits at work I don’t seem to have at home why aren’t my own goals and aspirations as inspiring as those of some job

I need to actually get working on some book project so that each thing that I write or do toward the book is in some specific place in the notes or at least is organized so why don’t I just take the black zipper notebook and make some dividers and put some pages in and start over a section for music art and writing
