make some outlines and drawings and collect some images and collages that I like
maybe get some insert sheets of different types and put in some cutouts make some collages by cutting things from papers and making notes on them — the actual position of the cut out doesn’t matter because I can scan and change the entire thing — I won’t be able to use the actual images anyway but should be able to find images that will fit
but it doesn’t really matter


thoughts on the book format etc
the holes for a ring binder bother me — but that is one aspect of the book that I like
the way the pages open up
the gutter with holes
the gap between the pages
the ability to fold out into a large space easier than a book flattens out
the possibility of rearranging the pages so that versions that I never see or think of are possible


I like that aspect — that I work to make two adjoining pages work together but someone can come along and make a totally different arrangement
this goes along with my ideas on site specific art etc that I should work out — this is a good subject for a philosophical type of working — a Wittgenstein type of working not a typical philosophical treatment

fold in methodologies that can work in any media — juxtapositions of different sounds with different visual things — the use of sound along with reading etc — this is multimedia but not what is normally though of as multimedia

is it possible to write out some series of ideas and questions like this and get it published — have it used in schools or be of interest to students artists etc — why does it circle back to this commercial aspect — but what use is writing something like this if there is no reader
