there should really be no choice here — i don’t have time to learn high level languages — just learning the software is enough mental exercise & i should be able to work within the limits of that software — (and have plenty to do) —

ART

MAKE ART FOR WALLS
BUY ART (OR JUST LIVE WITH WHAT WE HAVE)

the problem with art is what to do with it — walls can only hold a few pieces — it would have to be sold or discarded

from time to time i get the urge to make ‘landscapes’ — small things with fountains etc — the idea of having them be changeable — different fountain or piece of wood etc —
but a place is needed — where would i put even a small piece — the house is too crowded —

i should get rid of more books & papers —
(outline reason for keeping papers —

to print over — etc
i don’t need anywhere near the number that i have —

will i ever ‘paint’ — (canvas etc) — do i want to —
will i ever do sculpture —
choice — canvas/linen etc VS wood — i like the wood as object — therefore: start getting rid of things like linen — fabric etc —

(things that come to mind —

making paper art of a certain size —
cutting the book pages to fit into the notebooks — (all of these things take time —))

keep track of articles etc

not much done today

not sure why i haven’t been able to get to work on a web site
the feeling that i should just give up on that type of thing

why do i have some ‘desire’ to do art — video etc
<it> would be a lot simpler if i just got rid of all the crap and listened to CDs and read books
