each image can be cut up into fragments — these fragments can be enlarged to make entire pages (or shrunk down to illegible graphic elements — images

i want the text to be organized in pages — i don’t want a text that scrolls — but what i want to do requires links — what i want to do requires web technology — should i make all the pages into jpg images and then make a ‘backing’ html page that displays the image
what about links — (i could/should write what i’m planning here — diversions convolutions complications)

can i make a web page grid with the jpg as a background and then put links on top of the image

i’ve been planning a page that is 16x27 units — not quite a golden ratio — most pages would be divided into 3 columns based on approximate golden ratios — 3 columns (cf Derrida) 10 units 6 units 10 units and one unit for the gutters so the outer columns would be 10 units x 16 units = 5x8
form is more important than content

this is obviously impossible — so i should just give it up — or — should i just give it up — or should i just go ahead and make as many pages as possible because i want my ideas ‘published’ (while i perish — i’m not sure at what pace)
so step back — what do i have — i have years of writing i call notes — sometimes i think they’re all shit — sometimes i think there are some good things — but what i think changes each time i look at them

the origins of the notes — origins are not locatable in space/time — i started a sequence of notebooks on 4/27/77 so i have 42 years of notes —
the form is more important than the content but i want to use the content of the notes — (have i wasted my life writing notes — what does it mean to waste time) — because i think i should use them — that i should publish them — as an example of something
